Privacy Policy

When you create an account:

• Email address (required)
• Password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plaintext)
• Name (optional)
• Creem customer and subscription IDs (to track your plan)

When you use the generator:

• The product description and target audience you submit
• The vibe you selected
• The generated hooks, script, and hashtags
• A timestamp

We also count how many generations you make to enforce your plan’s limits.

• To provide HookCraft (generate assets, save your history)
• To authenticate you and protect your account
• To process your subscription via Creem
• To send password reset emails when you request them
• To enforce fair-use limits on the free plan

We do not sell your data. We do not use your generations to train any AI model.

To run the service, we share specific data with:

• Creem — payment processing. Receives your email to create a checkout session. Stores your payment method; we never see card details.
• opencode.ai Zen — the LLM that generates your hooks, script, and hashtags. Receives only the product text and vibe you submit; we do not send your email or account info.
• Resend or an external email service — to send password reset emails. Receives your email address and the reset link.

Each has its own privacy policy.

Account data and generation history are stored in a SQLite database on a Hetzner server located in Germany (EU). The database is not publicly accessible. Backups are not automated.

We set one HTTP-only cookie (hookcraft_session) holding a signed JWT. It expires after 30 days. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

If Plausible analytics is enabled by the site operator, one first-party Plausible cookie may be set.

You can request to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email ochiwa.apps@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

We keep your account and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete the associated data within 30 days.

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top will change. For material changes we email registered users.
